You will be okay.

I used to firmly believe in the phrase, "everything will be okay." It was a comforting thought that provided me with a sense of reassurance.

However, as I journeyed through life, I came to realize that this phrase wasn't always true. Sometimes, unfortunate events occur, and situations unfold in ways that are far from what we desire.

Failing a test, being rejected from a job, experiencing a breakup, falling ill, losing a loved one—these are just a few examples of the challenging moments life throws at us.

There will always be tough parts of life that we have to face.

That's when I decided to shift my mantra from "everything will be okay" to "I will be okay."

Even in the midst of difficult and trying circumstances, I know I possess the strength and resilience to endure. I believe in my ability to navigate through these heartbreakingly scary moments and come out stronger.

Embracing this new truth empowers us to become fireproof. Instead of avoiding fires or difficult situations, we can walk through them with the confidence that we will emerge okay on the other side.

Even in the midst of challenging moments, embracing this truth helps ease anxiety. Even if you face the possibility of failing a test the next day or experience the worst-case scenario, remember that you will survive. Recognizing your resilience takes away the power of anxiety and restores your inner peace.

You will be okay.
